DRUMS

Whether you’re a beat master or new to the sticks, we’ll connect all that rhythm on the inside to the outside! Get one-on-one instruction to solidify your skills, increase your finesse, and bring out all the style…

WOODWINDS/BRASS

Saxophone, Clarinet, Flute, Trumpet, Trombone, Tuba. Woodwinds & Brass are connected to your body like no other instruments. Learn skills necessary to be a player in both group and solo environments. Gain the 1-on-1 specialized instruction you need to more confidently join – or re-join – the band, orchestra, or small ensemble!

MUSICAL THEATER

Two Musical Theater Classes are available (4th-6th grade & 7th-12th grade).

Randy Reynoso

Starting piano lessons at a young age, Randy quickly found a love for music. Playing for over 14 years, he has had a variety of musical training and experiences including Classical training, Latin music, Jazz and Gospel.

Randy has performed in renowned and prestigious venues such as Good Times Jazz Bar, The River Club of Jacksonville, and Breezy Jazz House. He graduated from the University of North Florida with a bachelors in Jazz Studies.

Eric Diaz

Eric was born in Venezuela into a musical, Christian family. His father was a pastor and his mother, a pianist and choir director. Eric started his musical studies at the age of five, and following high school, he studied at the Conservatory of Music of Maracay and the prestigious Violin Academy of Latin America. He had the opportunity to play in many different orchestras in Venezuela.

Eric moved to the United States in 1996 and continued private classes at Seminole Community College. He has played in many Central Florida orchestras; Orlando Philharmonic, The Imperial Symphony Orchestra of Lakeland, Flagler Symphony Orchestra, Space Coast Pop Orchestra and Space Coast Symphony Orchestra, just to mention a few.

He has participated in musical mission trips through “Global Mission Project” under the direction of Camp Kirkland, playing in Israel, Cuba and Hungary. He has had the privilege to accompany many Christian artists like Charles Billingsley, Aline Barros, Ana Paula Valadão, Sissaundra Lewis, Christian Cuevas, Ana Nobrega, Marcos Witt and Hector Hermosillo.

Currently, he is the Worship Coordinator for the Spanish and Brazilian ministries at First Baptist Church of Orlando, and also serves as first chair violinist in the church orchestra.

Eric is now working on receiving his Bachelor’s degree in Ministerial Services at the Baptist College of Florida.

Francesca Foster

Francesca began her musical journey with the violin in the 2nd grade. Her love for music quickly blossomed into a passion for instruments. Along the way, she added the piano, viola, cello, upright bass, clarinet, oboe, and some percussion instruments to her repertoire.

Throughout Middle & High school she continued to perform with these instruments, but took a hiatus during college. A few years ago, her passion for music reignited and took her on a teaching path. In the past 9 years, she has taught over 30 students how to play piano, strings, and to appreciate music as well.

Yegues Schettini

Yegues holds a Bachelor’s degree in Instrumental Music Education and Flute Performance from Florida State University. He has been involved with music starting in 5th grade and has consistently taught classrooms, master classes, and private lessons since high school along with numerous solo and ensemble performances.

Yegues is currently the guitar teacher at Ocoee High School, and within one year developed the program from 3 guitar classes to a full load of 7 guitar classes ranging from beginning to advanced players. He is also the guitarist for a local band.

John K. Brown

John started singing at a very young age and God has continued to bless him with a career in this industry. He grew up in Louisville, KY (a southern boy) and attended performing art schools from late elementary school and all through college.

His first taste of artistic directing came when his mother sent him to Europe on tour with his performing high school ensemble where he was the lead vocalist and dancer. From then on, the inspiration of perfecting a piece of work to excel to its highest achievement was developed. Staging and Directing has brought him alongside Dove Award winner Ronald Owen as Director of a New Musical “Requiem for a Young Man”, and he thanks God for the opportunity. His other professional credits include 10 years at Walt Disney World Leadership Coordinator for “Enviropals” (currently running on PBS) and a 10 year member of the acclaimed international acapella group Rockapella (from the hit PBS show “Where in the World is Carmen San Diego”).

His Theatre credits include Hello Dolly, Miss Saigon, The Lion King, West Side Story and Pippin. The entertainment business is not easy to be a part of but with the grace of God all things are possible and mountains can be moved!

Gabriel Berti

Gabriel began his passion for music at the age of four and is currently attending UCF working towards a bachelor’s degree in percussion performance and music composition. He has been a percussionist in the Celebration Orchestra at First Baptist Orlando for the past five years. Gabriel has played the drums in many churches and musicals.

Throughout his high school years, he was involved as a drummer and percussionist in the concert bands, marching bands, pit orchestra, and jazz band. During his time as the jazz band drummer, he was selected to be the All State drummer for four consecutive years as well as the All County drummer. He participated and helped form the 3NG Jazz quartet, which has performed at various events. In marching band, he was the drumline section leader and was responsible for teaching his classmates and hosting sectionals to rehearse and improve techniques.

He is grateful and blessed to be able to serve God in the worship ministry and in the community.

Vera Kasevich

Vera is a dedicated professional with over 30 years in music and ministry. She was born in the Soviet Union, a country where the church and belief in God were banned, although her name Vera translates as “Faith”. From early childhood, Vera studied music, and after graduating from Music School, Music College and Music University, Vera acquired a degree and then 30+ years of experience in the Symphony Orchestra (violin), Music Teacher (piano, violin), Director and Conductor of the Choir (Hillsong), Worship Leader, Vocal Coach and Producer.

Immediately after the collapse of the USSR, Vera heard the Gospel from missionaries from America and Australia and became a Christian in 1992, beginning her journey as a minister at the Hillsong Kiev Church. Postponing plans to emigrate to the United States, Vera and her husband Zhenya, also a professional musician, decided to invest their knowledge and experience in the birth and development of worship music in post-soviet countries. Over 20 years of service in the Hillsong Church as Senior Pastor with her husband, Vera translated more than 400 songs into Russian and Ukrainian and recorded them, which made up 27 worship albums for all generations. As a renowned worship leader and speaker, Vera has traveled extensively around the world participating in conferences, missions and music projects.

In 2014, Vera and her family moved to the USA. After planting a Russian-speaking church in Miami, Vera, using her vocal experience, created Singing Academy Online, where students from all over the world are currently studying. As the current Choir Director at the oldest Reform Jewish Congregation Beth El of Fort Meyers, Vera gained experience in Hebrew Worship and studied the history of the development of temple worship music.

Paul Rizzo

Paul's interest in music captivated him early on. He started with piano,
then trombone as a college major, then back to piano as a traveling music director in various contemporary groups.

Owner of Ritz Studio Productions,Inc., he has had a 30+ year career as a music producer/arranger for corporate events, creating all styles of music for top 500 Direct Sales Companies as well as themed parks and restaurants and radio jingles, receiving awards for selected projects.
As well as playing piano regularly for Orlando area churches and local groups, Paul taught digital music workstations at Full Sail University for 7 years.

Paul currently plays for the Classic service at Church at the Cross.
